This particular sphere of Amethyst from Brazil, allows us to admire the natural formation of crystals within a geode that has been polished by mad without affecting the natural and perfect beauty of the crystals.
Throughout history the Amethyst has always had a special virtue: preventing drunkenness and excessive indulgence; even the ancient Greeks and Romans used to storm their glasses with Amethyst believing that by drinking from that glasses they could not be inebriated by the wine.
Even Catholic bishops wear an Amethyst ring to protect themselves from mystical intoxication.
