Description

A natural sculpture composed of ammonites and nautilus from Madagascar.
A fascinating example of evolution and adaptation. In the geological time scale, the Alban period represents the last phase of the Cretaceous period (100,5 - 113,0 ma). Further divided into lower and upper was defined for the first time in 1842.
In this singular specimen we remark a rather large fragment of Ammonite Douvilleiceras. In addition to Cleoniceras and Phylloceras there are also bivalve and turricona shells.
From Madagascar directly into a corner of a living or exhibition environment ... a natural work of art that takes us back in time to a few million years.
The warm colors of the matrix and the fossils that cover it, fit perfectly in minimal and modern environments as well as classic and refined.
