Description

Douvilleiceras ammonite, fossil from the Cretaceous period.
The agatization that he suffered during the fossilization process has made it an element of enchanting beauty.
In it we can read the strong ribs that adorned the shell of the cephalopod and the designs of the fringes of the septa that divided the growth chambers of the animal.
A rare fossil that for dimensions, quality and conservation, make the specimen truly remarkable and collectible.
The soft colors, from sand to brown, which indicate the bond to our land, the millions of years of ammonite that remind us of our history, the grandeur of a stone sculpture, the beauty of the cut that enhances the shapes, colors and reflections, are only a corollary to the solemnity that this piece will be able to give to the environment in which it will be placed.
