Description

Coming from the Mediterranean's sea the Pagurus Bernhardus is a decapod crustacean very common.
Having a body without protection, this animal lives using empty shells that it finds on the seabed. As it grows, changes the shell with a larger one.
This preserved specimen was placed under a glass bell creating, thanks to a thin red gorgonian, a very minimal marine environment.
