Description

Sectioned geode of Agate and Quartz from mines in Brazil.
This specimen has been cut in two parts to show the beautiful internal crystallizations of Quartz.
The surface of the cut was polished while the outer part of the Geode remained in its natural state, with its matrix.
Geodes are cavities with fantastic crystallizations inside, created inside mostly magmatic rocks.
The gas bubbles trapped inside the magma, during the cooling, gave rise to the Geodes, with a thousand shapes and colors.
