Description

Nostoceras Malagayenseis a fossil of a very particular shell, characterized by a very long syphonal chamber that left perpendicularly from the spire, and the returned to it till almost closing itself underneath it. The stripes follow the entire growth of the shell, from the beginning of the spire, till the end of the chamber.
At a geographic level, it was quite widespread, occurred in Europe, Africa and North America, while in terms of age, it lived only in the Cambrian between 66 and 72 million of years ago.
