Description
Terebra Dimidiata, aka orange auger, scientific name Oxymeris Dimidiata, is a marine gastropod mollusk in the family of Terebridae.
It has the shape of a very long and narrow cone, and the spire is the entire body of the shell. The size of an adult shell can vary between 55 and 165mm.
The color is an intense orange with some beige patterns. The inside is on grades of white, beige and light orange.
It occurs mainly in the Red Sea, and in the Indian Ocean on the eastern coast of the African continent.
